We came out of decades of hands-on technology consulting, where we kept seeing the same thing: AI tools that sound confident and can't show their work. The people who use our software (compliance officers, consultants, lenders, clinicians, IT providers) are accountable for the result. Our job is to take the drudgery off them and leave them the judgement, with the evidence in front of them.
Why "Grocky"?
It started as two childhood nicknames our founder grew up with: "Gocky Chicken" and "Rocky." Put them together and you get Grocky.
We kept it because it describes the company we want to be. Rocky is the steady part: rigorous, dependable, built to hold weight. Gocky Chicken is the reminder not to take ourselves too seriously while doing serious work.
